Non-Player Character List
In reading this page, we are presuming that you have already taken a look at the Active Character List.
There are characters who are played by players in the game, but who are not considered to be player characters. They generally haven't been Chosen by the Powers, and many of them don't live in Haven. These characters tend to be the Powers That Be, their enemies the Stars of Heaven, minions who work for one of the factions, or other support characters that won't get played very often.
If you are not already in the game - and well established - you WILL NOT get to play an NPC. Only players who have demonstrated a good understanding of the game's infrastructure, who play well with others, who can handle the responsibility, are given the opportunity to play an NPC. You will know when/if that day comes, because the moderators will tell you.
Obviously, NPCs cannot be applied for, because they are already being played by someone else. Please take a moment to check this list before you apply, to make sure you aren't duplicating a character that's already taken. Of course, you are allowed to take characters from the same series as these NPCs - in fact, that might be fun.
